Basketball Comes to an end

As it goes all good things must come to an end. Last week the St. Pius Lancers ended their basketball seasons during the District Tournament. Although the Lancers played as well as they could, they did not pull out a win to continue the season. I would like to congratulate all of the teams on a  great and exciting season and I can’t wait till next year. Listed below are some of the games from the end of the season.

Honors and Records

On February 14, 2011 parents, friends, students and fans joined to honor three outstanding Seniors. Amanda Held, Domonic Mosier and Melissa Collins shined on the court helping the Lancers defeat Valley High School. They are a great example of leadership and sportsmanship on and off the court. I was so happy to be there that night and share it with them.

A special Congratulations for Melissa Collins who broke the All Time Scoring Record for St. Pius X. I was thrilled to be asked by her parents to see her break the record and can’t wait to see how far she will take it. Congrats to all of the seniors and their families.

The photos are up on www.fastfotostudios.com. Just click on “View Your Session”> Sports Photography> St. Pius Girls Senior Night. You will also find photos from the Think Pink Night held February 7, 2011.

Rams End Season

Like all good things, the Rams season came to an end on January 2, 2011. This was one of the best season’s St. Louis has seen in a long time. Congrats to Steven Jackson on breaking records and to Sam Bradford in his rookie season. The Rams have certainly put some spark back into St. Louis Football.

On December 26th, the Rams hosted the San Francisco 49ers. They came away with their last win of the season, defeating the 49ers  25-17. With this game came also the Fan Appreciation day. The Rams gave away a multitude of prizes to show their appreciation to the fans. Click here to see photos of the Game and Here to see the fans after the game.

On a last note I would like to express my gratitude to the Rams Organization for letting me be a part of this season. I had a great year and can’t wait till next season starts.
